Synopsis
This class is to bring up someone with limited knowledge on the road to becoming a Junior Linux UNIX administrator.
Prerequisites
You will be required to have your own system on which will run UNIX or Linux and to have it with you in class. The first day we will be doing installations on both hardware and virtual devices. If you would like to run Linux as a virtual machine, please make sure you're hardware supports it first.
You should be able to have a basic understanding of the difference between a graphical interface and a command line interface. How a text editor works. How a directory (or folder in windows) works.
It is highly suggested for you to be proficient on the keyboard. You'll be typing quite a bit.
